Refund and Returns Policy

However, we understand that sometimes a product may not meet your expectations. This policy outlines the conditions under which returns and refunds are processed.

1. THE “NO REFUND-ONLY” POLICY (CRITICAL)

To maintain the integrity of our business and prevent fraudulent activity, TOOL EMPORIUM LTD strictly does not offer “Refund-Only” solutions.

  • Physical Return Required: In almost all circumstances, a refund will only be issued after the physical item has been returned to our designated warehouse and inspected by our team.
  • No Exceptions for “Dislike”: We do not issue refunds if a customer simply decides they no longer want the item but refuses to return it.
  • Verification: If you claim an item is defective, you must still follow the return procedure unless our technical team explicitly waives the return in writing after reviewing video/photo evidence.

2. RETURN WINDOW

You have 30 calendar days from the date of delivery to initiate a return. If 30 days have passed since your package was marked as “Delivered” by the carrier, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

3. ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURNS

To be eligible for a return and subsequent refund, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • The item must be in the same condition that you received it.
  • It must be unused, uninstalled, and undamaged.
  • It must be in its original packaging (including all boxes, internal wraps, and manual inserts).
  • Items such as disposable car trash bags or car air fresheners (if the seal is broken) are exempt from being returned for hygiene and safety reasons.

4. RETURN PROCESS

To start a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our support team at lunarwander@toolemporiumstore.com with your Order Number and the reason for return.
  2. Provide clear photos or a short video if the item is malfunctioning or damaged.
  3. Once your return is authorized, we will provide you with the return shipping address: 8 Market Street, Tavistock PL19 0DA.
  4. Do not send items back without prior authorization, as they will not be tracked or processed.

5. SHIPPING COSTS

  • Customer Responsibility: For “change of mind” returns or “ordered by mistake,” the customer is responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning the item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • Defective Items: If the return is due to our error (you received an incorrect or defective item), TOOL EMPORIUM LTD will cover the return shipping costs or provide a prepaid label.
  • Tracking: We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

6. REFUND APPROVAL & TIMELINE

Once your return is received and inspected:

  1. We will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.
  2. We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund based on the item’s condition.
  3. If approved: Your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment (e.g., Credit Card, PayPal) within 7–10 business days.

7. DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE GOODS

If your product arrives damaged during transit, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. You must provide photos of the damaged packaging and the product. While we require the return of the damaged unit, we will expedite a replacement or a full refund once the return transit is confirmed.

8. EXCHANGES

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same model, please email us at lunarwander@toolemporiumstore.com.

9. LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us.
